9 TED Talks That Changed My Idea About Business

Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” Abraham Lincoln.

At Interesting Content we dedicate a day a month or 1/2 a day per week, simply to learn, unlearn, educate ourselves on anything and everything.

When I first stated the company I simply didn’t have the budget resource or time to be able to bring in a coach or attend training. But I know how important creating a learning environment would be not just for myself but for my team too.

One constant will probably remain with me forever is; I know, that I know nothing. Everyone else around us has a profound perspective to the world and answers to the all the questions we are seeking. We just have to be receptive to learning the answers.

Although we had no budget, someone in the team had the bright idea to instead watch a series of TED talks to help inspire us and try out new things at work. The below is not an exhaustive list but it gave us so many interesting ideas to try out!

Some of our best thinking & work as resulted from being inspired and being open to learning.

I hope the below will inspire you as much as it inspired us!
